WLV Wolverine Minerals Corp.

WOLVERINE MINERALS CORP. (TSX VENTURE: WLV)(FRANKFURT: 4LP) ("Wolverine" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has purchased the Vivi property, Simpson Range area, Watson Lake Mining Division, Yukon from the estate of prospector, J.P. Ross (the "Vendor").

The Vivi property consists of 16 claims aggregating approximately 335 hectares. It is located in the northwest corner of NTS Quadrangle 105 A, about 10 km. southeast of the Company's Four Corners (4C) property, Finlayson District. The 4C property is one of 21 properties which are the subject of an option agreement between the Company and Strategic Metals Ltd. (See news release of Dec. 14, 2010).

The Vivi property is predominantly underlain by Late Devonian, massive to foliated, serpentinized ultramafic rocks of the Big Campbell Thrust Sheet. Historical regional silt geochemistry completed by the Yukon Geological Survey and various exploration groups have detected highly anomalous gold and arsenic values in several streams draining the upland area covered by the Vivi claims.

The Company intends to complete detailed soil and silt geochemical surveys as well as prospecting to attempt to locate the mineralized source.

In consideration for the sale, the Company has agreed to pay the estate a single payment of $35,000. The estate will retain a 2% NSR from any production from the property, half of which may be purchasable at any time for $1,000,000.

The technical data in this news release has been reviewed and approved by James M. Dawson, P.Eng, who is a qualified person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101.
