TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jun 30, 2014) - VVC Exploration Corporation ("VVC" or the "Company") (TSX-VENTURE:VVC) is pleased to announce that VVC's annual meeting of shareholders (AGM) will be held at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites - Montréal Airport in Dorval, Quebec, at 10 am on July 24, 2014. Proxy materials, comprising of the Notice and Information Circular booklet and the Form of Proxy, are being sent by mail to shareholders. Registered shareholders should be receiving a proxy and non-registered shareholders should be receiving a voting instruction form ("VIF"). These proxy materials were filed on SEDAR.

In addition to the usual matters to be presented at the AGM, including the appointment of the auditor and election of directors, shareholders will be asked to consider an ordinary resolution to approve the Company's currently implemented Stock Option Plan for the ensuing year until the next AGM. Shareholders are encouraged to read the Information Circular for particulars of the proposed resolutions.

Non-registered shareholders wishing to attend the AGM and vote in person must appoint themselves as proxyholder and submit their voting instruction form at least 48 hours before the meeting.

Following the AGM, shareholders will be provided with a presentation of the Company and its corporate strategy for next year.

Finally, the Company has also filed on SEDAR its interim financial statements for the period ended April 30, 2014 and its 2014 Annual Report containing the President Report to Shareholders.
