Vecta Energy Corporation- Corporate Update

Vecta Energy Corp.'s (TSX VENTURE:VER) Special Committee, established to
evaluate strategic alternatives for the company, is assessing opportunities that
include the sale of assets, business combinations and the financing of new joint
ventures. Negotiations are in progress on these opportunities and in support of
this process, the secured loan holders have agreed to extend the maturity date
of the secured loans to April 30, 2012, and to forego any interest charges that
may accrue to that date. 


The Company also advises that it has moved its corporate office to a new
location at 2200, 300 - 5 Ave SW, Calgary, T2P 3C4. Telephone and email contact
