Vitreous Glass Inc. Appoints New Director

Vitreous Glass Inc. (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VCI) is pleased to announce
that Mr. Timothy H. Rendell CA was elected as an additional director of the
Corporation at the annual meeting of shareholders held on March 19, 2013. 


In addition to his position as a director of the Corporation, as of August 1,
2012 Timothy is the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. Timothy is
currently Principal of Allegro Management Services, a company that provides
business management services. Previous to working with Allegro Management
Services, Timothy was the president of Summer Equipment Ltd. from 2003 to 2005,
the President of Calgary International Organ Festival from 1997 to 2002 and the
Chief Operating Officer of Milner Fenerty, Barristers & Solicitors, from 1990 to
1997. 


The board of directors of the Corporation currently consists of J. Patrick
Cashion, Patrick T. McCarthy, H. Irvin Thomas, Peter Schenkelberg, David G.
Birkby and Timothy H. Rendell.
