Terra Energy Obtains Conditional Approval to Trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange

Terra Energy Corp. ("Terra Energy" or the "Company")(TSX VENTURE:TTR) announces
that it has received conditional approval to list its common shares on the
Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX"). The listing is conditional on the submission
of certain documentation to the TSX. Upon graduation to the TSX, the common
shares of the Company will trade under the symbol 'TT'.


Terra anticipates that the listing of its common shares on the TSX will occur by
the end of May 2009. Terra's common shares will be delisted from the TSX Venture
Exchange in conjunction with the TSX listing.
