Micrex Development Corp.: Issuance of Shares for Quebec Property Interest

Micrex Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MIX) announced that it has applied for
regulatory approval to issue a total of 346,154 common shares at a deemed issue
price of $0.13 per share in respect to its previously disclosed agreement
wherein the Corporation purchased its magnetite/titanium/apatite property in the
Saguenay/Lac St-Jean region, in Bourget Township on the north shore of the
Sagueany River, Quebec. The agreement was entered into on June 13, 2002 and
provides for a yearly payment to be made in the sum of $45,000, payable in cash
or common shares. These shares will be issued subject to a 4 month hold period
terminating on October 22, 2012.
