Lago Dourado to Extend Term of Warrants

Lago Dourado Minerals Ltd.  (TSX VENTURE:LDM), (the "Company") announces that it
will make an application to the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") to extend the
term of its Series 2012 warrants for an additional year. An aggregate of
9,775,000 Series 2012 warrants were originally issued on March 31, 2012 (the
"First Tranche Warrants") and are exercisable at $0.60 per share until September
30, 2013, and an aggregate of 1,417,500 Series 2012 warrants (the "Second
Tranche Warrants") were originally issued on April 11, 2012 and are exercisable
at $0.60 per share until October 11, 2013. The Company is applying to extend the
term of the First Tranche Warrants to September 30, 2014, and the term of the
Second Tranche Warrants to October 11, 2014. The exercise price for the warrants
will remain the same. 


The warrant amendments have been approved by the board of directors of the
Company. The warrant amendments remain subject to TSXV approval.
