Grenville Gold Corporation ("Grenville" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE: GVG)(PINK SHEETS: GVLGF)(FRANKFURT: F9I)(WKN: A0KELU) would like to clarify a statement made in its news release of August 12, 2009.

Compania Minera San Juan (Peru) S.A. (CMSJ) is a subsidiary of Gold Hawk Resources. The major which is a potential buyer of the Coricancha Mine has not been disclosed.
