Greenock Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GKR) ("Greenock") announces it has filed
its Interim Financial Statements and Management Discussion and Analysis to
September 30, 2011 on SEDAR.


Greenock has refiled revised Interim Financial Statements to June 30, 2011 on
SEDAR to provide additional information required by IFRS accounting guidelines.


Greenock is holding a Special meeting on January 27, 2012, 10:30 am at 80
Richmond Street West, Suite 1101, Toronto ON. Subject to completing final
closing conditions, this meeting is being organized to approve the previously
announced the purchase of 87.5% of the shares of Greenock's wholly owned
subsidiary PTM Minerals (Cayman) Ltd by Quatern Holdings Limited.
