Industries Ltd. (GBI.H:NEX): Global Railway
Industries Ltd. announced today that its chairman, Thomas Dea, and two individuals who may be
considered joint actors of Mr. Dea sold all 3,929,300 of their
common shares in Global, representing approximately 25.7% of the
outstanding shares, to an affiliate of Mercury Partners &
Company. Global has been advised that the transaction was
completed in accordance with exemptions from the take-over bid and
prospectus requirements of applicable Canadian securities laws.
The transaction is considered to result in a
"change of control" of Global for purposes of the rules and
policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
