EcoMax Announces Postponement of Meeting Date

EcoMax Energy Services Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EES) ("EcoMax" or the "Company")
announces that is has received an order from the Court of Queen's Bench of
Alberta (the "Court") pursuant to the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) (the
"ABCA") allowing the Company to extend the time in which the next annual meeting
of shareholders shall be held. The Court has granted an extension to the Company
to hold its next annual meeting no later than November 13, 2009. The annual
meeting had previously been scheduled for August 13, 2009. The Company will file
an amended notice of meeting on SEDAR at www.sedar.com when a new meeting date
has been chosen. This extension will allow the Company time to further explore
strategic alternatives that may be available to the Company and which may also
require shareholder approval.
