TORONTO, April 23, 2018 /CNW/ - Namibian lithium
developer and emerging lithium concentrate producer Desert Lion
Energy Inc. (TSXV: DLI) ("Desert Lion" or the
"Company") today announced it has concluded a capital
markets site visit to Jiangxi Jinhui Lithium Co. Limited's
("Jinhui") lithium conversion facility in Yichun,
China. The site visit provided
investors and analysts the opportunity to meet with Jinhui
management and tour Jinhui's conversion facility, which is
currently undergoing a staged expansion with an ultimate production
capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year of battery grade lithium
carbonate.
"We believe Desert Lion's concentrate is a high-quality product,
which will be an important feed for our operations. We look forward
to receiving the first shipment of lithium concentrate from Desert
Lion and continuing to build our long-term relationship with the
Desert Lion team," commented Mr Nan, Chairman of Jinhui.
Desert Lion Energy is currently in phase one production,
producing lithium concentrate from stockpiled material in
Namibia. The first 30,000 tonne
shipment is expected to start loading during the week of
23 April 2018, an offtake agreement
with Jinhui.
