VANCOUVER, May 28, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian Mining Company Inc.
(the "Company") (TSX.V:CNG) is pleased to announce it has entered
into a long-term research collaboration with the Zeolitic and Nano
Materials Laboratory at Western
University (ZNML-UWO), which is renowned as the first
Canadian research group specialized on zeolite science and
technology.
The ZNML laboratory will conduct tests and evaluate the
Company's natural zeolite deposits in order to develop new
value-added products as well as exploring potential applications of
the Company's natural zeolite for animal husbandry and agricultural
industries.
The ZNML-UWO provides expertise and houses facilities to carry
out research and development projects on characterization,
modification and testing the properties of Canadian Mining's
zeolites as an active ingredient for animal husbandry (e.g. animal
feed additive) and agricultural applications (e.g. soil remediation
and slow release fertilizers).
According to the preliminary test results, Canadian Mining's
natural zeolite showed very promising results, which opens new
windows of opportunities for Canadian agricultural
industries.
The ZNML-UWO and Canadian Mining Company research staff provide
complementary expertise on zeolite production, research and
development. Canadian Mining is committed to becoming the
largest producer and processor of zeolite and zeolitic products in
Canada for national and
international markets.
