Symbol:  CNG - TSX.V VANCOUVER, Sept. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian Mining Company Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it recently carried out an inspection of the 360 tonne zeolite sample delivered in June 2012 to an organic fruit grower in the Keremeos, BC area.  The Company is pleased to report that the organic grower has created a local awareness of the benefits of zeolite for use in orchards, odor control applications and bio-solid waste composting. Use of zeolites can help reduce costs for growers by reducing the risk of over or under fertilization.  When mixed with fertilizers zeolite releases nutrients and moisture at a steady pace resulting in less use of fertilizers and lowers the risk of damaging crops by applying too much. In discussions with local farmers, the Company was informed of potential upcoming water restrictions in the area.  Municipalities continually search for ways to protect their water supply and keep the cost of water treatment at a reasonable level.  Water restrictions are often a common part of that solution.  Water restrictions would drastically affect growers.  This can be countered by the use of zeolites in the soil helping to retain water, so less is required. Organic Composting, Vineyards, Animal Feed and Odor Control                                                         Clinoptilolite as found on Canadian Mining's Sun Group Zeolite Project has been used for years as an additive in feed for cows, pigs, horses and chickens.  It absorbs toxins in the feed and enhances food absorption for these animals. The Company continues to receive inquiries from Ontario, the Okanagan and the Cowichan Valley, BC for availability of zeolite for use in organic orchards, odor control applications and bio-solid waste composting.  In many cases samples were requested and shipped. For well over a year now Ray Paquette, CEO has had several site visits and has been in communication with local farmers and growers as well as several municipalities working to establish various sales channels for the Company's zeolite.  The Okanagan Valley and the Similkameen Valley boast nearly 10,000 acres of planted vineyards which account for more than 90% of all wine produced in British Columbia.  Zeolites are useful to the wine grape grower in several ways and studies have shown that they can increase yield, cluster size and sugar content.  This is an ever-increasing, on-going market requiring tens of thousands of tonnes of zeolite per year, mostly within Canadian Mining's immediate shipping area. 10,000 Tonne Bulk Sample                                                                                                                               Canadian Mining's Qualified Person will submit an application to move forward with the first 10,000 tonne bulk sample permit on the Sun Group Zeolite Project to coincide with the upcoming 43-101 drill program.  Having a compliant NI 43-101 Resource Report will not only establish the size and grade of the zeolite deposit, it will also assist the Company in getting its zeolite certified for use by municipalities, organic growers and companies engaged in radiation containment.  The 43-101 paves the way for a 10,000 tonne bulk sample and near term sales to local markets, such as organic growers, vineyards, composting, animal waste treatment, livestock, and poultry and swine producers.
