Cleanfield Alternative Energy Inc.: Granting of Stock Options

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (TSX VENTURE: AIR) announces that it has granted an aggregate of 313,500 stock options to employees and consultants of the Corporation.

A total of 290,000 share purchase options were granted to employees of the Corporation and are exercisable at a price of $1.78 per common share, being the price on the close of business March 20, 2008. A total of 10,000 share purchase options were granted to employees and are exercisable at a price of $1.43 per common share, and 13,500 share purchase options were granted to consultants and are exercisable at a price of $1.78 per common share.

Options granted to employees are exercisable over a period of 4 years at a rate of 25% per year and consultant options vest over a period of 3 years.

All options granted have a term of 5 years and expire on March 21, 2013.
