AgriTec Systems Announces New Chief Technical Officer

AgriTec Systems, Inc. ("AgriTec" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:AGR) is
pleased to announce that Bill Mullee has joined the team as the new Chief
Technical Officer. Bill is a chemical engineer that has worked in the
semiconductor and chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) fields. He will be in
charge of the Company's product and process development and the Houston lab
facilities. As part of his compensation package he will receive 100,000 shares
of the Company's common stock. 


Under the Company's stock option plan Mr. Willy Verbrugghe is entitled to
receive 300,000 options and Mr. Greg R. Wellen is entitled to 100,000 options in
the Company's common shares. Each option is exercisable at $0.26 per share and
good for five years.


AgriTec is a Houston, Texas based corporation engaged in the pursuit of "clean
tech" business opportunities for the conversion of bio-mass (specifically rice
hull ash) into value added commodities, and has been issued a number of
world-wide patents in this regard. The Corporation's common shares are listed on
the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "AGR".
