Acadian Energy Inc. Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Orders

Acadian Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ACX) (the "Corporation") announces that today
the British Columbia Securities Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission
(together, the "Commissions") issued full revocations of the cease trade orders
issued on August 5, 2011 and August 16, 2011, respectively (collectively, the
"Cease Trade Orders"). The Cease Trade Orders were issued due to the
Corporation's failure to file the audited financial statements of Acadian Energy
Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Corporation, for the year ended
December 31, 2010, unaudited interim financial statements of the Corporation for
the three month period ended March 31, 2011, accompanying management's
discussion and analysis ("MD&A"), and corresponding certificates, as required by
Ontario securities law (the "Required Documents"). 


On November 8, 2011, the Corporation filed the Required Documents, and also
filed interim financial statements, MD&A and corresponding certificates of
interim filings for the six-month period ended June 30, 2011. Further to the
Corporation's press release dated December 1, 2011, the Corporation filed
amended and restated MD&A for the periods ended March 31, 2011 and June 30, 2011
to include additional disclosure required by applicable regulatory requirements.
The Corporation is now up to date with its continuous disclosure requirements.

On August 4, 2011, the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") suspended the
Corporation's shares from trading on the Exchange as a result of the Cease Trade
Orders. The Corporation has applied to the Exchange for re-instatement of
trading in the Corporation's shares. The application has been updated with the
orders of revocation issued by the Commissions and is now under final review by
the Exchange.
