Videotron Ltd. today announced the closing of its offering and sale of US$260
million aggregate principal amount of its 9 1/8 % Senior Notes due 2018.
Videotron intends to use the proceeds of this offering to repay all drawings
under its senior secured credit facility and the remainder for general corporate
purposes. In the context of the current instability of the financial markets,
Videotron has seized the opportunity to optimize its liquidity position through
this offering.
