Element Financial Declares Dividend on Cumulative 5-Year Rate Reset Preferred Shares, Series A

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Mar 4, 2014) - Element Financial Corporation (TSX:EFN)(TSX:EFN.PR.A) ("Element" or "the Company"), one of North America's leading equipment finance companies, announced today that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.4701 per Series A preferred share payable on March 31, 2014 to shareholders of record on March 17, 2014. The dividend payment is for the period from and including the date of issue up to but excluding March 31, 2014.

The dividend is designated as an eligible dividend for the purpose of section 89(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
