GLOW TELECOM SIGNS DEAL WITH ATLANTIC ELECTRIC AND GAS

TO EXTEND ITS RANGE OF LOW COST UTILITY SERVICES

Glow Communications plc ("Glow"), the AIM-listed telecoms marketing affinity
company, announces that it has signed an agreement with Atlantic Electric and
Gas ("Atlantic"). Under the terms of the agreement Glow, which already
specialises in the development and provision of low-cost high-quality
telecommunications services, will initially market a low cost electricity and
gas energy offering to its existing telecoms customers base. The second stage
of the agreement will enable Glow to use its proven marketing affinity strategy
to sell a wider range of low cost energy services to new customers.

Atlantic is a leading independent electricity and gas supplier in the UK and is
currently considered one of the market leaders in terms of fair pricing in the
utilities market. To ensure a seamless service, Atlantic will initially manage
all new customers in terms of response to advertising, inbound sales, migration
from other suppliers and after care. The energy offering could save customers
up to #100 a year.

Terry Boland, Chief Executive of Glow, commented: "We already offer a wide range
of value-for-money telecoms packages and this agreement enables us to extend our
utility offering in two ways. Firstly we can now offer our existing customer
base access to a low cost alternative to their existing energy providers.
Secondly we can develop a marketing affinity strategy to offer an integrated
package of utility services to new customers.

Glow has significant experience in the formation of affinity partnerships with
the provision of our range of low cost telecommunications services and in the
last eighteen months has signed major deals with amongst others: SAS, Britannia
Music, the Federation of Small Businesses, JD Williams and Quality Paperbacks
Direct. I am confident that we will be able to replicate that success in the
energy market, particularly given that Atlantic is one of the industry's most
dynamic energy companies."

Jeff Percival, Chief Executive of Atlantic Electric and Gas, said: "We think
that Atlantic's offering will be considered an attractive proposition by Glow's
customers, who have already demonstrated they are keen to seek out the most
competitively priced utility services. Like Atlantic, Glow Telecom is focused
on building a profitable and loyal customer base through affinity partnerships
of this type and we are both well positioned to continue as leading independents
in our respective sectors."
