Result of Annual General Meetings

The Company announces that at the Annual General Meetings of The American Income
Trust Limited ("AIT") and American ZDP Limited, held at the Pomme d'Or Hotel, St
Helier, Jersey at 10.30am and 10.45am respectively on Wednesday 5 March 2003,
the Ordinary Resolutions as set out in the Notices of Meetings were passed. The
special resolution of AIT to change its name to The American Investment Trust
Limited was also passed and will become effective from the date of registration
by the Jersey Financial Services Commission. A further announcement will be made
when confirmation of this registration has been received.
