SALT LAKE CITY, March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- USANA Health
Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA), a global nutritional supplements
company, today congratulated Liezel
Huber, on her third straight doubles title on the WTA Tour.
This is the seventh WTA title for Huber and her doubles partner,
Lisa Raymond. They have won 28 of
their last 31 matches dating back to the 2011 US Open. Liezel has
now earned a total of 51 career WTA doubles titles, extending her
reign as the number one doubles player in the world for a total of
171 weeks. Huber has been taking USANA supplements for the
past six years and attributes her success in part to her improved
nutrition.

"The first time I became the WTA #1 was in 2007, when I first
started using USANA products," said Huber. "At the time, players
were not allowed to take supplements because the WTA was worried
about unsafe ingredients. I was one of the original players to push
to find supplements that would be safe for us to use. All the USANA
products we take have been tested by NSF or HFL, which gives us
peace of mind. Today I am one of the oldest players on the tour,
and I feel like I am on the top of my game."
"We know that athletes are very cautious about what they put in
their bodies and that anti-doping continues to be a big issue,"
said Jim Brown, USANA's vice
president of global operations. "So we do everything in our power
to ensure they are getting the safest, most effective supplements
available. In addition to our strict quality control processes, we
have our athlete products tested by third party organizations
throughout the year, obtain certification from independent and
government entities and even have a guarantee to select athletes
that USANA will pay them two times their earnings up to
one million dollars if they test
positive due to taking USANA supplements."
Huber and Raymond won their last finals against Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina at the Dubai Duty
Free Tennis Championships 62 61. Liezel now has five Dubai titles and is scheduled to compete in
this week's BNP Paribas Open in Indian
Wells, California, which starts today.
