"For the past few weeks we have been on this bus tour trying to
get the word out that healthy living is possible if you have the
right tools," says Dave Wentz,
co-author and USANA Health Sciences CEO. "Making these best sellers
lists has made all the hard work worth it. We are thrilled to
be reaching so many people."
Publishers Weekly was first to recognize The Healthy
Home's performance on April 2,
ranking the book #17 in the hardcover nonfiction category.
The following day, USA Today announced The Healthy
Home was among the "Top 150" books sold nationally. By
April 10, the book was the #9
best-selling hardcover nonfiction title on the L.A. Times Best
Sellers list. Most recently, the New
York Times released its Best Sellers list for April 17,
2011, in which The Healthy Home came in at #7 in the
hardcover advice & misc. category. The popular health and
wellness book continues to be among the top 100 titles sold on
Amazon.com.
"We are amazed at the attention we've received," says
award-winning microbiologist and co-author, Dr. Myron Wentz. "I've been invited to ring the
opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange today and the response
we've gotten on our book tour has been phenomenal."
The Healthy Home book tour runs through April 21 and includes book signings and
scientific demonstrations. The authors are proud to donate
all their proceeds to Children's Hunger Fund (CHF), a nonprofit
organization distributing food and other vital resources to
children from impoverished communities worldwide.
