United Industrial Corporation Names Stuart F. Gray Treasurer HUNT VALLEY, Md., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stuart F. Gray has been named treasurer of United Industrial Corporation (NYSE:UIC), the company announced today. As treasurer, Gray will oversee the corporate treasury function and investor relations activities previously performed by James H. Perry, UIC vice president and chief financial officer, who until now also held the position of treasurer. "As UIC continues to focus on initiatives to achieve profitable growth in our defense businesses both organically and through select acquisitions, as well as maximize operating efficiencies, we are fortunate to be able to add an executive with the level of successful financial management experience that Stuart has," said Perry, to whom Gray will report. Previously, he was vice president of banking for GMAC Mortgage Corporation and earlier was a financial manager at General Motors Corporation. Gray earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from Princeton University and a master's in business administration in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
