LIN TV Corp. (NYSE: TVL) today announced that Courtney Guertin has joined the company as public relations specialist. In this new position, Ms. Guertin will develop and implement corporate communications programs for the growing and dynamic television broadcasting and digital media company. Ms. Guertin has extensive public relations and marketing experience, having worked as public relations manager at one of Rhode Island�s premiere advertising agencies, Advertising Ventures, Inc., where she implemented many award-winning campaigns on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading organizations. Most recently, Ms. Guertin served as assistant director of communications for Harrah�s Entertainment�s 2006 political campaign in Rhode Island. �Courtney is a valuable addition to our team as we look to promote our accomplishments and build awareness of our leadership position in the broadcast industry,� said Vincent L. Sadusky, LIN TV�s president and chief executive officer. Ms. Guertin is president-elect for the Public Relations Society of America, Southeastern New England Chapter and past president of the American Marketing Association, Southeastern New England Chapter.
