Quicksilver Gas Services LP (NYSE: KGS) announced today that the board of directors of its general partner has declared a cash distribution of $.39 per common unit for the 2009 fourth quarter. This distribution will be paid February 12, 2010 on all common units to holders of record as of the close of business on February 2, 2010.

Quicksilver Gas Services expects to announce its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2009 on Monday, March 1, 2010, before the market opens. The company will host a conference call for investors and analysts at 10:00 a.m. eastern time that day to discuss the operating and financial results. This announcement is intended to be a qualified notice under Treasury Regulation Section 1.1446-4(b), with 100% of the partnership's distributions to foreign investors attributable to income that is effectively connected with a United States trade or business. Accordingly, Quicksilver Gas Services' distributions to foreign investors are subject to federal income tax withholding at the highest effective rate.
