EFT Eaton Vance Floating Rate Income Trust

BOSTON, March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At their annual meeting held today, shareholders of Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust (the "Trust") (NYSE:EFT), a closed-end investment company, voted to elect William A. Park, Ronald A. Pearlman and Heidi L. Steiger as Class II Trustees of the Trust, each for a three-year term; Helen Frame Peters as Class III Trustee of the Trust and Ralph F. Verni as Class III Auction Preferred Shares (APS) Trustee of the Trust, each to serve until 2010 to coincide with the term of office of their class. The other Class I and III Trustees of the Trust, who serve staggered terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
