Vimicro Announces Director Resignation
BEIJING – November 16, 2007 – Vimicro International Corporation (NASDAQ: VIMC), a leading fabless semiconductor company that designs and develops
multimedia semiconductor products and solutions, today announced that Mr. Vince Feng has resigned from the company’s board of directors for personal reasons.
Dr. John Deng, Chairman and CEO of Vimicro, said, “Mr. Feng was instrumental in providing guidance to us during his tenure as a member of our board. We appreciate his contribution to the company.”
Vimicro continues to meet SEC and NASDAQ corporate governance guidelines as it relates to board composition following Feng’s resignation.
