WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/
-- Tecogen® Inc. (NASDAQ: TGEN) is pleased to
announce the Company will be exhibiting its premier line of
efficient clean energy solutions at the 46th annual
GLOBALCON Expo to be held March
9th-10th at the Hynes Convention
Center in Boston, MA. A full scale
model of Tecogen's InVerde combined heat and power (CHP) technology
will be prominently displayed in Booth #504. Showcased alongside
the Company's full portfolio of best-in-class natural gas powered
on-site energy solutions, the latest InVerde model offers superior
electrical efficiency, emergency blackstart backup power, seamless
grid interconnection, and near-zero emissions of harmful criteria
pollutants (NOx and CO).
While company representatives will be available at the booth to
answer questions and meet with attendees throughout the event, two
formal presentations will also be made by members of the Tecogen
team during GLOBALCON. On Wednesday
March 9th 11:00 AM
EST in Presentation Area One, Tecogen Vice President of
Sales, Jeffrey Glick, will host a
workshop discussion titled "Inverter Based CHP Systems – Advantages
and Applications." The presentation will highlight key
differentiating features offered by inverter-based combined heat
and power systems as well as best uses of the cutting-edge power
technology.
In addition, Stephen LaFaille,
Product Manager for the Company's ultra-efficient Ilios®
line of gas heat pumps, will be speaking on Day 2 of the Expo. At
2:00 PM EST on March 10th Mr. LaFaille will discuss
Gas Heat Pump Technology for Commercial Applications during a
Buildings session chaired by David A.
Gaudet, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering manager for
National Grid. The Ilios natural gas or propane fueled water
heater combines traditional boiler technology with the power of an
engine driven heat pump to cut fuel consumption and carbon
emissions in half while free waste heat from the engine is captured
and repurposed, adding to the unit's capacity and
efficiency. Come hear more about gas heat pump technology and
its wide range of commercial applications during Mr. LaFaille's
discussion.
