Explanation of Responses:

Represents shares that are issuable pursuant to restricted stock units under the Avast Limited Long Term Incentive Plan, as amended. On September 15, 2022, Mr. Vlcek purchased 456,475 shares of Gen Digital Inc. (f/k/a NortonLifeLock Inc.) (the "Company") common stock on the public market with a fair market value of approximately $10,000,000 (the "Stock Purchase"). On November 1, 2022, in consideration of the Stock Purchase, the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee of the Company's Board of Directors approved the grant of this RSU award with an aggregate grant date value equal to 30% of the Stock Purchase, or approximately $3,000,000. 100% of the RSUs vest on November 1, 2025, subject to Mr. Vlcek's continued employment with the Company as of such date, and his agreement not to sell any shares of the Company directly or indirectly owned or acquired by him at any time prior to such date
