SAN JOSE, Calif., March 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Komag, Incorporated (NASDAQ:KOMG) today announced the completion of its offering of $250 million aggregate principal amount of its 2.125% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2014 (the "Notes"), including exercise of the initial purchasers' over- allotment option for $30 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes. The Notes were sold to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act").
