Intellon Corporation to Report Third Quarter 2009 Financial Results on October 22, 2009

Intellon Corporation (Nasdaq:ITLN), a leading provider of HomePlug®-compatible integrated circuits (ICs) for home networking, networked entertainment, Ethernet-over-Coax (EoC) and smart grid applications, today announced that it will release financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009 following market close on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Given the proposed acquisition of Intellon by Atheros Communications, Inc., management will not host a corresponding conference call following the announcement.
