General Finance Corporation (“General Finance”) (NASDAQ:GFN) (NASDAQ:GFNCW) (NASDAQ:GFNCU) today announced the completion of its previously announced rights offering which expired at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on June 25, 2010. General Finance received approximately $6.3 million in gross proceeds in connection with the exercise of subscription rights and will be issuing 4,190,647 units. Each unit consists of one share of common stock and a three-year warrant to purchase 0.5 additional shares of common stock at an exercise price of $4.00 per share. As a result of the rights offering, General Finance will therefore issue 4,190,647 shares of common stock and 4,190,647 warrants to acquire an additional 2,095,323 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $4.00 per share.
