CDC Software Corporation (NASDAQ: CDCS), a hybrid enterprise
software provider of on-premise and cloud deployments, announced
today Hamburg, Germany-based Hermes Fulfilment is using the
cloud-based CDC eCommerce platform to help deliver eCommerce and
multichannel retail services to its global customers.
Already, Hermes Fulfilment is using CDC eCommerce to power the
online storefront of Wolford, a global manufacturer and marketer of
upscale hosiery, lingerie, and ready-to-wear items. CDC eCommerce’s
platform is initially being used in Wolford’s online ordering
system.
Hermes Fulfilment manages the eCommerce, store-based and
multichannel retailing requirements of its global customers in more
than 15 countries. Hermes manages the complete fulfillment needs of
its customer including the online ordering system, distribution of
the products from its warehouse, as well as return logistics.
