On February 11, 2008, Ampex Corporation (“Ampex” or the “Company”) announced that it had received a GRAMMY ® Award for Technical Achievement at the 50 th Annual GRAMMY ® Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, California on February 10, 2008. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as an Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference. GRAMMY ® is a trademark of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Inc.
