American Eagle REAL is available for men and women, and evokes the confident, open-minded spirit of the brand and its customers. The fragrances were created to be casual, versatile and comfortable, much like the perfect pair of jeans. American Eagle REAL is subtle enough to wear to work or school, and at the same time intriguing and sensual for a date or night out. In development for the past year, American Eagle REAL was created in collaboration with a leading independent fragrance consultant and is produced by two of the leading fragrance houses in the country. American Eagle REAL For Her is offered in a 1.7 fluid ounce eau de toilette for $34.50, as well as a roller-ball vial for $12.50. The scent features top notes of pink grapefruit, pomegranate and mandarin, mid-notes in blossoms of water lotus, muget, and orange flower petal, and dry down-notes of creamy patchouli, white birch wood and soft sandalwood. American Eagle REAL For Him comes in a 1.7 fluid ounce cologne for $34.50, as well as a body spray option for $8.50. The scent is masculine and clean with citrus and cardamom for a cool aromatic effect. There are mid-notes of fir balsam, rosewood, and jasmine for a woody, modern feel, and dry down-notes of vetiver, tonka bean, amber and patchouli. Both bottle designs are made of heavy glass textured with the subtle imprint of a belt buckle. American Eagle REAL For Her is housed in an organic orb-shaped bottle in a soft nude pink, while the men's bottle design is angular in a rich tobacco grey/brown hue. The fragrance is supported by a national print advertising campaign in publications such as Seventeen(R) and CosmoGIRL!(R) and direct mail sampling. In stores, the fragrance will be prominently displayed on lead tables in the women's and men's areas of the stores, as well as at the cash and wrap area.
