Actuate (Nasdaq: ACTU) to Change Ticker Symbol to 'BIRT' Effective November 3, 2010

Actuate Corporation (NASDAQ:ACTU), The people behind BIRT® and the leader in open source Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that The Nasdaq Stock Market has approved a change in the Company's ticker symbol. Effective November 3, 2010, Actuate Corporation will trade on the Nasdaq Global Markets under the ticker "BIRT".
