TANJONG PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY ("TANJONG" or "the Company")
- Notification of Interests in Shares
The Board of Tanjong wishes to announce that the Company has received a
disclosure notification under Section 198 of the UK Companies Act, 1985, that
The Capital Group Companies, Inc. and its subsidiary, Capital Group
International, Inc. ("CGII") by virtue of holdings attributed to CGII's
subsidiaries, including Capital International Limited and Capital International,
Inc. ("CII"), have an increased interest in the share capital of Tanjong of
22,278,100 shares of 7.5 pence each, representing 5.75% of the issued share
capital of Tanjong as at the date of the notification. In addition, CII would be
deemed to have an increased interest in 22,189,100 shares of 7.5 pence each,
representing 5.73% of the issued share capital of Tanjong as at the date of the
notification.
