LiteLink Technologies Inc. (“LiteLink”), a key player in logistics platforms and payment solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the full beta release of the 1SHIFT Logistics platform to North American markets on April 15, 2019.

LiteLink is part of a growing field of technology companies using mobile apps and algorithms to connect shippers with truckers more efficiently. Capital groups and entrepreneurs have been looking for ways to staking a claim in the $700 billion-a-year trucking industry, which to this day relies on manual paperwork and phone calls.

This release is a major milestone for LiteLink as the 1SHIFT platform is launched into the North American Market. The initial phase of the beta release will be to complete onboarding of companies that have already expressed interest, followed quickly by mass-market availability to any shipper, broker or carrier via a self-registration portal.  The mobile app for truckers will be available on both Android and Apple iOS.

The 1SHIFT logistics platform has been designed from the ground up to be an industry leader and this initial release focuses on tracking shipments and using exception management workflow to proactively address potential delivery misses.

Accurate track and trace throughout regions, including dead zones, is a core business need in the industry given that knowing the location of your assets is fundamental to achieving operating efficiencies.  1SHIFT leverages mobile technologies that enable superior alternatives to providing real-time visibility and problem management.  The 1SHIFT mobile app used by truckers to view real-time shipment details and to flag any issues, automatically provides the geolocation using the phone’s GPS capabilities.  The end result is that stakeholders like dispatchers who are monitoring shipments can view an interactive map within 1SHIFT showing the current location and progress of each shipment.

Problem and exception management is an important secondary feature to save time and money spent by industry participants as they handle operational issues and resolve disputes.  The predictive capabilities built into 1SHIFT enable users to avoid disputes by addressing potential issues which are flagged before they become serious.  1SHIFT has a robust audit trail capability employing blockchain technology that provides an immutable historical record of the events surrounding each shipment.  This data can be used to quickly resolve disputes and associated penalties and fines, and save millions in detention costs when a truck faces a long wait at the dock and cannot move on to the next job on a timely basis.
