The Board of GET Group PLC, the international electrical products supplier,
announces the appointment of The Hon. Sir David Sieff (aged 64) as a
non-executive director to the board.


John Joseph, Chairman of GET Group PLC commented:


" I am delighted to welcome David to the Board of the Group. He brings a vast
experience of retailing knowledge that my colleagues and I believe will be
invaluable to us, as the Group continues to grow significantly within the UK and
overseas markets."


David is currently Chairman of FIBI Bank (UK), Newbury Racecourse plc and UK
Betting plc. He was a director of Marks & Spencer from 1972 to 1997, Chairman of
the British Retail Consortium (BRC) from 1998 to 2002, Chairman of the National
Lottery Charities Board from 1994 to 1999 and Chairman of Racing Welfare
Charities. He was also director of the British HorseRacing Board  from 1998 to
2001.

Listing Rules.
