Director's Purchase and Sale of Option Shares 

On 27 June 2003 Steven Board exercised options over 260,000 shares in the
Company. Of these 200,000 were exercised at 110 pence per share and 60,000 at
172.5 pence per share.

He immediately sold 178,000 ordinary shares at a price of 243 pence per share
and will retain the balance of 82,000 ordinary shares.

His total share holding in the Company is now 82,000 ordinary shares.
