GMA Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia Limited

MELBOURNE, Australia--Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia Ltd. (GMA.AU) has renewed for a further three years a contract to supply lenders mortgage insurance to Commonwealth Bank of Australia Ltd. (CBA.AU), Australia's biggest mortgage lender.

The renewed supply and service contract takes effect from the beginning of January and will run through 2019, Genworth Australia said Thursday.

The contract represented 43% of its gross written premium in the first half of the 2016 financial year.
