Microlab, a Wireless Telecom Group Company (NYSE AMERICAN:WTT) today announced its new DCC Series Point-of-Interface integrated solution was chosen for the deployment of the wireless system in Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. System designers and integrators were faced with a challenging objective of maximizing data capacity, eliminating excess cabling and connections and fitting within restrictive physical dimensions. Microlab’s DCC Series innovative custom solution is designed to address these unique challenges which encapsulates both the D-RAN combiner function as well as passive distribution network for compactness. The integrated solution also reduces installation time by allowing the installer to simply plug the radios in with each output driving a single antenna.

"We worked closely with the system design team to develop the solutions for Hard Rock Stadium. The design provides guaranteed low loss and superior PIM performance for a multi-carrier neutral host network and multi-band carrier aggregation" said Chris Newton, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. "We developed this D-RAN solution to provide the highest quality RF coverage and performance. The system provides 2x2 MIMO in the licensed PCS and AWS bands as well as the unlicensed 5GHz-6GHz band for LTE-LAA. This solution also eliminates future deployment costs with an injection port for CBRS when it becomes available."

The Microlab DCC Series Point-of Interface integrated solutions are deployed extensively in stadiums, convention centers, campuses, and medical facilities worldwide. The fully-tested integrated solution with guaranteed low PIM and low loss architecture provides maximum RF transmission to ensure system performance. Microlab designs integrated solutions to customer-specific requirements for 3G, 4G, and 5G cellular networks, medical equipment applications, and military use cases.
