                            YEAR-END TRADING UPDATE


CODASciSys plc ("CODASciSys") is today providing an update on its performance
following the end of its financial year on 31 December 2003.  Quoted on AIM
(stock code: CSY), CODASciSys is headquartered in Chippenham and is a supplier
of specialist software, consultancy and IT services.

CODASciSys is pleased to report that its results for the year ended 31 December
2003 are expected to slightly exceed market expectations.  The group has
continued to generate cash with year-end net cash in excess of #6 million (2002:
#9.4 million) after #10.8 million expenditure on acquisitions during the year.

The CODA Division (financial intelligence and accounting solutions) has
maintained the good progress reported in the interim results in September 2003.
New sales successes in the second half include Redrow, Rubicon, Claims
Management Group and Group ERAM in France.  Following the rapid integration of
SquareSum in the early part of 2003, this business has settled down well as part
of the enlarged CODA Division.

As reported during the course of 2003, the SciSys Division suffered from
contract deferrals and some restructuring was implemented.  As forecast at the
half year, the Government & Commerce business (the activity most affected by the
delayed contracts) has achieved its key objective of returning to profit during
the second half year, although this will not offset the operating loss it
incurred in the first half year.  Meanwhile, the Space & Defence business has
performed in line with expectations during the second half year.  Notable SciSys
new business includes additional work for the European Organisation for the
Exploitation of Meteorological Sciences (Meteosat Second Generation suite of
satellites) and the European Space Agency (Galileo and SMART-1) and new
contracts for Defence Estates and Serco Assurance.

The Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2003 will be announced on
Thursday 25 March 2004.
