Grant of Options under, and amendments to, the DDD Employee Stock Option Scheme
(the "Scheme")

DDD announces the grant of 615,000 options over ordinary shares of 10p each in
the Company ("Shares") under the Scheme to the executive Directors and employees
of the Company. The options, which have an exercise price of 44.65p (based on
the average middle market price of the Shares over the five day period to 12
November 2003), constitute the first grant of options pursuant to the Scheme
since the admission of the Shares to AIM in January 2002.

The Directors to whom options have been granted are detailed below:

*The options may be exercised as to 20% upon grant, 20% on the first anniversary
of the grant, 20% on the second anniversary of the grant, 20% on the third
anniversary of the grant and 20% on the fourth anniversary of the grant. The
balance of 20% of the options granted may be exercised following the
announcement of the Company's preliminary results for the year to 31 December
2004 subject to certain turnover criteria for that financial year being
achieved. All the options will expire, if not exercised, on 11 November 2008.
