ILXP (Pink Sheets:ILXP), a growing luxury goods manufacturer, is pleased to report results for the first half of 2007. During this period, its Edward H. Bohlin subsidiary, a luxury silver, watch and leather goods maker, exceeded company projections by boosting sales 48% over the same period last year, posting a profit versus a projected loss. Our customer base continues to broaden, said Dave Marold, Bohlin CEO and ILXP president. Bohlin offers a timely, appealing combination of luxury, unique hand finishing and distinctive fashion. People are wearing our watches and buckles in Aspen and Beverly Hills, not just in our traditional markets in the Southwest, Marold continued. In particular, our new luxury watch line has ignited sales. Typically, Bohlin relies on the last two quarters for nearly 75% of its earnings, and therefore projected a loss for the first half of 2007. Instead, Bohlin turned a profit. Edward H. Bohlin is well on the way to a record year, said Marold. After the first two quarters, our earnings are already within 80% of 2006s annual total. With our two biggest quarters ahead of us, we expect 2007 to be a record year for both earnings and sales, he said. Bohlin management attributed the sales and earnings surprise to strong demand for its luxury watch line, which combines Swiss-made quality with distinctive western styling. Later this year, Bohlin intends to introduce two brand new models, a chronograph and an automatic watch both in steel & 18k gold. During the first two quarters of 2007, Bohlin exceeded its projected sales plan by approximately 24%, surpassing the same period last year by 48%. ILXPs other business line continues to proceed according to its launch plan. Yves Buchenel, CEO of ILXPs Julien Coudray division, reported that Coudray has completed development of its proprietary watch movement. Production and assembly are on schedule for a limited edition 4th quarter release of the Julien Coudray, 1518 haute horlogerie ultra-luxury watch. The official launch is scheduled for Baselworld, the leading industry watch fair, in April, 2008. ILXP is a supplier of luxury watches, including the Julien Coudray 1518, exclusive luxury, 'haute horlogerie' timepieces comparable to the finest Swiss brands. The company is also the major supplier of luxury western style watches and accessories under the prestigious Edward H. Bohlin brand. The Julien Coudray 1518 brand takes its name from the world's oldest known watchmaker, who in 1518, delivered two daggers inset with miniature clocks to King Louis XII and Francois I. ILXP's wholly owned subsidiary, Edward H. Bohlin, is arguably the most famous and highly regarded name in upscale western luxury goods, with an 85-year tradition of fine silver and leather goods, from buckles to hand-finished saddles. Its signature designs and hand- engraved pieces have been worn by famous personalities such as Ronald Reagan, Ralph Lauren, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Robert Wagner and John Wayne. Its buckles are prominently featured in television and film, most recently in "The Horse Whisperer," worn by Robert Redford and "All the Pretty Horses," worn by Matt Damon. Bohlin is also a prestige name in brand-conscious Japan. ILXP is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and maintains a European office in Biel, Switzerland.
