This week CinTel Corp. (OTCBB:CNCN), a leader in Internet Traffic Management systems, was honored by the Metro Chamber of Commerce (GLI) as the region's best small business, with 1-9 employees in the local market, with the Inc.tank -- 2006 Inc.credible Award. With over 600 applicants CinTel was chosen in its first year of entry. The Inc.tank -- 2006 Inc.credible Awards were presented at the Celebration of Small Business luncheon, held in Louisville with over 450 local business leaders in attendance. GLI created the award program in 2000 to recognize the significant contributions small businesses make in the Greater Louisville community. Awards were given in a total of five categories: businesses with 1-9 employees; businesses with 10-49 employees; businesses with 50-99 employees; woman-owned business; and minority-owned business. JD Sparks, Vice President of US operations was on hand to accept the award. "When we selected to relocate to the Louisville area we knew there would be great opportunities to work with the business leaders in the area and be within reach of all major markets in the U.S.," said Mr. Sparks. Nearly six hundred nominations were received for the 2006 awards - a new record for the program. In order to qualify as an award candidate, nominees were required to complete a comprehensive candidate questionnaire. Judges then evaluated each candidate's performance in areas such as community involvement, response to adversity, number of years in business, growth in employment, financial strength, and innovativeness of product/service. The 2006 Inc.credible Award winners included; CinTel Corp., ID & A, Inc., ZirMed, Office Environment Company and V-Soft Consulting Group.
